Family owned and operated

JA Academics was founded by Adam and Jennifer Finkle, certified Florida teachers. Between the founders and the tutors on our team, we bring over 100 years of combined teaching experience, with certifications, degrees, and endorsements spanning Elementary Education, ESOL, Gifted, Math, STEM, and Leadership.

Our mission is simple: build understanding and confidence, not confusion and frustration. Whether your child is struggling, on grade level, or accelerated, we meet them where they are and help them grow.

Adam Finkle

Adam Finkle

My name is Adam Finkle. I had the pleasure of teaching mathematics and science at the elementary level for students in grades 2 through 5. I have experience with standard and advanced level math classes through Algebra 1. I have taught robotics for the past 4 years at the elementary level. I have my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and my Master's Degree in STEM Education. In my free time, I enjoy bowling, spending time with my family, and theme park hopping.

I look forward to working with your student and helping them reach their educationals goals.

Jennifer Finkle

Jennifer Finkle

Jennifer, a graduate of Saint Leo University and a teacher certified in Elementary Education , ESOL and Gifted Education with a Master's Degree in Instructional Leadership, has been teaching since 2001. With a heart for working with kids and helping them to reach their true potential, she along with her husband Adam, has founded JA Academics. In her spare time, Jennifer can be found with family and friends enjoying quality time at the local theme parks.

Isabella

Affectionately known as Ms. Q by students, is a well loved substitute teacher who is in high demand by students, teachers and administration. Isabella has always had a love for learning, especially reading, and could always be found with her nose in a book going on a reading adventure. Homeschool Evaluations

Florida law requires homeschool families to submit an annual evaluation. Our Florida-certified teachers review your child's portfolio, meet with the student, and provide the signed evaluation you file with your district. $35 first child, $25 each additional.
